Here's to 2014 | Our Year in Review | Charleston, Atlanta & Destination Nontraditional Wedding Planner

What an incredible year this has been!  I launched Scarlet Plan & Design in late December 2013 with nothing more than a dream of doing things differently and working with nontraditional clients.  Now after a full year in business, my dream is coming true.  I've got the most amazing team of talented ladies working with me now and I honestly could not be more excited to jump into 2015 headfirst.  We've had amazing first year in business and would not be where we are without so much support from our clients, vendors, families and friends.

First of all I have to thank my amazing, incredible, wonderful, handsome husband.  Without your love and support, I never would have done this.  You have no idea how much I appreciate everything this man has done for us (and with us) this year.  Thank you, babe!

More than anything I need to thank my talented team for all their hand work and dedication this year.  I am eternally grateful for every single one of you.  You've inspired, challenged, pushed, pulled, celebrated, and cried with me through all of our many ups and downs this year.  Through the beautiful weddings, the insane photo shoots, the talks late into the night, the sometimes weekly team chats that absolutely never stay on topic, the blogs you guys NEVER write, all the George Washington jokes (did you guys know he's been to Charleston?!), the magazine release parties, the wedding shows, the roadtrips and all the other amazing moments that have made us more than just a team, you guys are my family.  Alicia, Amy, Regis, Alden, Liza, Amanda, Danny, Mike, Brittany, Kristen, Pia, Shanti, Cindy, Sarah, Jordan, and everyone else that has been a part of our kooky family this year, thank you all from the bottom of my heart, I love you all soooooo much!

And to our wonderful clients.  Thank you so much for allowing us to be more than just part of your wedding days, thank you for letting us be a part of your lives and your love stories.

And finally, to the vendors/friendors that pushed me to start Scarlet Plan & Design, mentored me (I'm talking mostly to you, Molly McKinley!), gave me honest and sound business advice, believed in us, supported us and sent us business this year.  Thank you so much for being our cheerleaders and working with us in 2014.  We're so incredibly fortunate to have made so many good friends in the bestest industry ever.

And now the highlights you've all been waiting for.  We do apologize for the missing photos, so, so, so many are waiting on publication so we have to hold on to them for a while longer.  Sorry!

happy planning and a very happy new year, my loves!

love, sara
