When Alicia reached out to me to coordinate her wedding last fall, I was excited! I mean, we have the same name…which makes her awesome! Once I met her, I knew we'd work well together.
When we met, she had an overall idea of what she wanted but really just needed a little direction. That is why you hire a planner! I was THRILLED to get to help organize and execute her bright & colorful, playful design. Her whole design was truly Kate Spade Chic. Black and white with bright pops of orange, several shades of pink, red and coral at the Granite Room in Castleberry Hill in Atlanta set the perfect tone for a fun, unique wedding! From the food truck catering to the deconstructed wedding cakes topped with a cartoon drawing of the bride & groom to giant Geronimo balloons strung around the courtyard, this wedding was chock full of meaningful, well planned details. Even the bride's bouquet was adorned with photos of loved ones unable to be there in person. That one always hits ya right in the feels.
The Granite Room is a totally intimate, unique space and has such fun details like black & white checkered floors, and a wall made of pure gray granite goodness. We stung some gorgeous twinkle lights on that wall with a few homemade paper flowers to make the ceremony backdrop with ombre petals on either side of the aisle. Very romantic ceremony site if I do say so myself!
One last thing I must say about this couple…and family! I loved getting to be a part of this wedding. The two joining families were so sweet and excited about Alicia & Christchan marrying, it really warmed my heart! Everyone there was so genuinely happy for the couple and I LIVE FOR THAT! It was an absolute pleasure.
