Hunter's Haven: A Luxury Scottish Hunting Lodge Wedding at Coleman Hall & Chapel in Charleston, SC | Scarlet Plan & Design

Put on your kilt and call me Sassenach... I mean, prepare yourself for a wedding straight out of the Highland Games!

I'm not even going to lie, I 100% came up with this entire wedding inspiration design after reading and watching Outlander. I cannot be the only one obsessed with Jamie Fraser #amiright?! God bless Outlander, Diana Gabaldon (the author) and that glorious Scotsman of fiction in all his red headed glory. If you haven't watched it or read the books, it's cool, I'll wait while you google my boo. If its even a question of whether you should invest your time in such endeavors, here's one of my favorite GIFs to help ya decide:

ok, ok, i'll stop drooling over Jamie and talk about the wedding design now! sorry!

This gorgeous wedding inspiration was richly warm, luxuriously rustic and an inviting celebration incorporating the colors, materials and textures found in a mountain lodge. Plush furs, traditional tartans, rich leather, antlers and hardwoods complemented this simple color palette perfectly to round out this masculine wintry wedding at the gorgeous Coleman Hall & Chapel in Charleston, SC.

Enjoy!

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO MADE THIS DAY PERFECT!

Can you imagine a more gorgeous courtyard than this? And those church pews are part of the inventory at Coleman so make sure you rent them for your wedding!

Charlotte was stunning in this two piece ensemble from Bridal House of Charleston. Tierney styled her to perfection and even let her borrow her very own fur wrap to stay warm on this chilly January day!

Recognize our very own planner and logistics mastermind Sean Hooper?! Doesn't he look dashing rocking that kilt from Atlanta Kilts?

First of all, Eventa Bella is a genius! I mean, can we discuss this incredible show-stopping bouquet?! Feathers?! I mean, wow. Rich colors paired with unexpected rustic elements combined to create an over-the-top bouquet that nearly made our hearts stop!

Want to know a secret? That flower crown was made using PAPER FLOWERS!

Did you know that "rustic" can be elegant and luxurious? Sounds crazy, I know. But you don't have to use all -or any- of the crap you see on "Rustic Pinterest Weddings" because, umm, barf! You can say no to Mason jars, baby's breath, burlap, etc!!

But don't just take my word for it. Dinner menus engraved on smooth leather, laser cut wooden place cards with each guest's name set above simple driftwood chargers topped with antique copper rimmed dinner plates, flanked by copper flatware and vintage glassware completed the perfect table settings and created a luxury rustic vibe.
